Bose Quiet Comfort Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones

A good set of headphones is the first thing I pack in my carryon luggage (OK second after I’ve found all the passports.) Absolutely essential, even if I’m not listening to a movie, podcast or music, these keep out the background noise and give me much needed peace on board an airplane.

Kids Headphones Volume Limiting and Audio Sharing

For the kids, these make great stocking stuffers. We have some and they are pretty durable, fit well and come in a range of colors (a very important feature to children).

Bose BoseBuild Headphones

A little pricier but these are some very cool headphones that you actually build yourself, making these a great STEM gift. Practical and fun, this will definitely make you the cool aunty/uncle this year.

Trunki

Visit any British airport and you will see these fantastic little suitcases everywhere. Trunki ride on cases are a great way to get kids around an airport if you don’t have a stroller. It’s useful at the airport and a toy at your destination.

Kid’s Fire HD

A tablet with downloaded video and games is a good way to get through a long flight. Amazon’s kid-proof Fire is very sturdy and the thick rubber casing does an excellent job of protecting the device from drops. It also comes with a year’s subscription to Amazon’s children’s channel, which includes child-appropriate games, video and reading content.

Melissa and Doug Water Wow! Reusable Coloring Pads

You can’t go wrong with Melissa and Doug toys and this is another winner – a no mess coloring pad, perfect for traveling.
